I'm looking for reconditioned vintage or new mid-priced items; on a budget, but I know what good stuff is,,,,,please help

zzounds is pretty good.
prices are ok, free shipping and good user reviews.

tweaks guide has great info for building studios, audio gear etc ...

i dont live in the states but i check out these sites before ordering gear locally.

ebay is probably best for reconditioned vintage
but for a lot of things modern gear is so much better.
if modern electronics components are used in the restoration then you may lose the "vintage" sound you are after anyway
