    i own the AV40′s …
i own the AV40′s and they’re ok. I’d go for the low end monitors in the BX series. They have a small sweet spot and horrible bass response. the right speaker works as a slave speaker because the controls are on the left and it seems that the right speaker isn’t as loud as the left. It’s really annoying when trying to mix songs. If you’re just looking for cheap speakers and don’t mind that they’re not great for monitoring music, go ahead and get them. I’m sure a gamer would be happy with these
