My Home Theater Setup – Pioneer Kuro PRO 111FD/Klipsch

2 My Home Theater Setup Pioneer Kuro PRO 111FD/Klipsch..Just a short video of how my room is setup. The video is pretty self explanatory but to add a little more background:
- It's the Marantz SR8200, i made a mistake and said 82000:) i'm finding it hard to upgrade.
- The PRO-111FD has been reviewed as arguably the best Plasma on the planet, don't believe me do a quick search.
- Klipsch speakers are among the most efficient speakers made, the sensitivy rating is among the highest in manufactured speakers. This basically means that it takes much less power for Klipsch speakers to play at a given volume/dB when compared to another speaker which has a much lower sensitivity rating, you would have to turn the volume up on your receiver/amp much higher - this equates to a more dynamic and powerful sound.
- My sound panels are made by ATS Acoustics and are worth their weight in gold:) Like I said in the clip, any acoustic treatment is well worth the money and effort so go buy some!
- That is all.

    @kenroy916 hey …
    @kenroy916 hey appreciate it. i’m all about comfort you know. as far as the antennae, many companies make them you just have to ensure you get the correct one for your region. do a search for HDTV signal and what type of frequency antennae needed for where you are. HD picture quality is only as good as the quality and strength signal received (amount of filtration), which is also a part of why i don’t have cable. my picture is outstanding

    @tenjinnim the tv …
    @tenjinnim the tv obviously is the most expensive part of the system, easy to find out its price online; The speakers if you can find them are not selling now for what i paid for them as well. so all in all i would say around $7700. this doesn’t include equipment that i no longer use. If i was buying everything right now, it could be had for maybe 5800. mind you all this was accumulated (and upgraded) beginning 2001. so up until last year when i bought the tv, it took me 8 years.

    I think you can’t …
    I think you can’t go wrong with Marantz. My model i bought in ’02 and it’s a great. If i were to upgrade it would either be a Denon or possibly Pioneer. My decision would be based on how the amp pairs with the speakers, not the availability of new sound formats(dtshd/dolbyhd etc). As long as there is a Preout from your DVD Player and inputs to the reciever, you’ll have the lossless sound formats. Plus, Marantz is great with music.

    lol technically it may be, but i would not pay the difference for a marginal difference in PQ to my eyes. Both ARE elites in the end. In addition, i don’t need the size of a 60″, my TV before this one was a “62.
