@MistaDeadSnow …
@MistaDeadSnow Thanks! Yeah I had adjusted it as many ways as I can but it just doesn’t seem to sound right. I might buy a new one to see if there is a difference. If there isn’t it might just be the way it’s built which is not fit to my requirements. Thanks!
Did you try …
Did you try adjusting the knobs on the back of the Pold Audio sub? But I like your set up.
@Wildmnky247 Haha …
@Wildmnky247 Haha Thanks! I haven’t tried too many Sony stuff the only thing I’ve had is a 5.1 Speaker set and my dad has a out of a box home theater and they both sound alright, but sound pretty decent with DTS. All my other stuff sound perfect even without DTS so pretty much price and quality. If you get a chance to hear or own a Klipsch I think you’ll like it. The sub is about 12 years old and it’s only an 8″ but sounds better than any sub I’ve ever owned.
Have a Happy Holiday too!
@TypicalB18 I …
@TypicalB18 I wouldn’t say your stuff is mediocre. Your TV is over $600. The nice table your TV is on looks pretty spendy. Your home looks nice. You have a library of DVD’s/Games that’s probably worth a few thousand.
Anywho. I’ve never had a Klipsch. Only Bose, Sony, Polk and Yamaha. So far the everyone is great is except the sony, although it was only an 100W woofer.
Happy Holiday’s.
@Wildmnky247 Nice! …
@Wildmnky247 Nice! All my stuff is pretty mediocre nothing is over $300. I plan to upgrade soon but still unsure about what to get. I was thinking about another satellite set. Either the Polk Audio TL Series or a Klipsch 5.1 Set, but I wanted towers too so I am completely out of it, but most likely I’m going to be buying everything separate. I plan to get a Polk Audio CS10 Center channel to replace my current CS1 but unsure when that’s happening. I guess I’m gonna have to wait and see. Thanks!
@TypicalB18 I use a …
@TypicalB18 I use a 910W Yamaha 7.1-Channel Receiver at a cost weighing at $1,400. Yes, I’m also pretty tight with money, but I save quite a bit and get something I would enjoy rather than getting something bigger and better later which I will end up spending more than I could have spent. My motto, “Go big or go home” is what I like to follow. I am currently looking for special lights to put behind my television, therefore it will create an outline of a dimmed light behind my screen.
@Wildmnky247 That …
@Wildmnky247 That sounds like a really nice system. I like Polk Audio but I guess I’m not too big of a fan on their subwoofers. I’m planning to get another Klipsch but that would be a while. Yeah Bose do sound really clear for their size but the price is just too unaffordable for me and not worth it. I think the only Bose product I ever owned were these Bookshelf speakers, I believe model 2.2. The Plasma is not bad at that price. So what kind of Amp or Receiver are you using? Thanks!
@TypicalB18 They …
@TypicalB18 They are two Polk Audio Subwoofers, sorry left that bit out. Although Bose are over-priced, I do like the clarity and their capabilities. The Bose subwoofers just don’t do it for me, they do have a clear sound, I just need an excessive amount of power to suit my needs. This is for my home theater. It’s a 3440 watt system. It’s really, really loud. As for the HDTV, it’s actually a 54″ 1080p HDTV Plasma that’s part of the Viera V10 series. It was 2,400 at Best Buy, not 400.
@Wildmnky247 Cool, …
@Wildmnky247 Cool, Bose doesn’t sound too bad but I just hate their quality and price. It’s way overpriced for paper cones and materials, What kind of subwoofers do you have? Are they car of home? That Panasonic seems like a very good buy, is it a Projection? I don’t really recall them building LCDs or Plasmas at 52″. Thanks!
I have Bose …
I have Bose surrounding speakers for clarity, with two 1200-watt 12″ subwoofers for the power, with a 52″ Panasonic 1080p HDTV, low refresh rate, but it was only $400 at Best Buy, it was practically a steal.
@robm425 I had it …
@robm425 I had it around there at sometimes but I’ve always felt it was not enough then I had it around 70% – 80% & it had sounded not so well. I had the receiver turned up fully too. On second thought it could also be the design of the enclosure. My Klipsch is only 8 inches but has a way larger enclosure, but now it’s just mainly sitting in the garage until I find some use for it.
@TypicalB18 Yeah I …
@TypicalB18 Yeah I don’t have my sub more than 55% on the gain at times. Mostly I just increase the subwoofer output on the receiver. Also my primary focus for listening is movies
@robm425 Well …
@robm425 Well considering it’s an open box at an low price something was bound to be a bit wrong, or either I turn it up too loud haha.
Yeah that sub is …
Yeah that sub is hit or miss. Mine doesn’t bottom out for me. But I would like a sub that can go lower
@TypicalB18 same …
@TypicalB18 same bro
@MrKalabama Yeah …
@MrKalabama Yeah they’re pretty cool, but unfortunately this is the only song I like from them.
@in0wh3r3ul1v3 Yeah …
@in0wh3r3ul1v3 Yeah I really haven’t tried any other Polk subs, but this one really seemed to disappoint me. Sounds like a nice set up you got there. I also have the CS1 it works great for the price. I used to have RM7300s for my Fronts but now I just stick with these and a Klipsch sub.
i have a PSW10 sub …
i have a PSW10 sub and it bottoms out a lot too. really sloppy on the lower end.
“FWAH FWAH FWAH” is all i hear. absolute garbage. you really get what you pay for with polk subs. i love my monitor 30s, CS1 and OWM3s though. i almost bought this set, but chickened out at the last minute.
woow far east …
woow far east movement!
@maddhaitian Thanks!
@maddhaitian Thanks!
nice!
nice!
@raymondleeleggs I …
@raymondleeleggs I used to have Polk Audio RM7300s as my fronts but I just wanted to try a matching set to see what’s the difference. From my ears they both do pretty well. The RM7300s need more power though and possibly Bi-Wiring them would just be great. My amp is just pushing 75 watts per channel which is pretty low, but I have never tried those speakers from Sony maybe I’ll try them at a store or something.
You should try the …
You should try the Sony SSF-5000 as front speakersyou’ll have more midrange with the affition of the “8″ woofers.
@northsideplayer31 …
@northsideplayer31 Thanks, that’s cool I like the RTi series but they are a bit too pricey for me. I can’t wait to see those in your videos.
