How Do I Clean The Speakers Of My Home Theater System?

February 8th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

the screening of the speakers doesnt come off but it is stained up from kids hands prints and stuff like that. How can i clean the screening of the speakers? I have tried just a damp cloth but it doesnt work. The stains are white and the screening is black so i cant use bleach. Any ideas?

4. Get a water extraction machine like the Bissell Little Green Clean Machine. But don't use it to inject fluid into your speakers. Dampen the grilles with a mild soap and water solution until they're wet but not dripping into the speakers. Scrub a little. Then use the Little Green to suck out the dirt and liquid.

5. Get some black dye and dye white the stains black.

Since the screens aren’t removable you are left with very few options:

    1. Live with it
    2. Recover the speaker with new material
    3. use paint to touch up the screen
